The New Belgium Family Foundation is honored to continue our support of Waterside Workshops through a discretionary grant from one of our Board Members.

Waterside Workshops provides job training, classes, wrap-around assistance, and outdoor recreation opportunities for low-income and disconnected youth from the East Bay in near San Francisco.

Waterside Workshops offers jobs and internships for East Bay residents ages 14-24 at its three social enterprises: Street Level Cycles, the Berkeley Boat House, and the Waterside Cafe. Additional classes are offered in bicycle maintenance and boat-building for younger participants. Through these programs, participants develop hard and soft job skills in a positive and supportive environment.
